Blacksnape lies in the Lancashire hills between Darwen and Blackburn, reached via the A666 from either the M65 or local moorland routes. The elevated position offers typical Pennine scenery, whilst over 150 EV charging points serve the wider area. The community sits amongst former spa towns, with several 19th-century Turkish baths and Roman-style facilities dotting the surrounding valleys.
