Black Dam is a residential area just outside Basingstoke in Hampshire, easily reached via Junction 6 of the M3 motorway. The A339 provides connections north to Reading, while local lanes lead to surrounding villages like Cliddesden. With over 100 EV charging points in the Basingstoke area and proximity to three small airports, it's well-connected despite its quiet character. The name recalls the area's historical water management features, with several small reservoirs still dotting the local landscape.
