Black Bourton is a small Oxfordshire village in the upper Thames Valley, reached via the A4095 from Carterton or the B4020 from Clanfield. The A40 provides connections to Oxford and Swindon for longer trips, whilst local traffic heads to nearby Carterton and Witney. With over 50 fast EV chargers in the area and proximity to RAF Brize Norton, it's well-connected despite its rural setting. The 12th-century church of St. Peter contains remarkable medieval wall paintings, including a St. Christopher fresco that survived the Reformation.
