Bewerley lies in Nidderdale, just outside Pateley Bridge in the Yorkshire Dales. Reach it via the B6265 from Ripon or Grassington, or the B6165 from Harrogate (20km). The village sits beside the River Nidd amid typical Dales scenery of stone walls and rolling hills. It's an excellent base for exploring the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the ruins of a 12th-century chapel dedicated to St. Andrew still visible in the village centre.
