Bettystown sits where the River Boyne meets the sea in County Meath, about 50 kilometres north of Dublin via the M1. The R150 coastal road runs through town, connecting north to Drogheda and south to Skerries, while the N51 links west to Navan. The town's claim to fame is its Blue Flag beach that hosts the Laytown Races, Ireland's only official horse racing on sand. There's good access to championship golf courses and the nearby Brú na Bóinne UNESCO site, plus over 30 EV charging stations for exploring the Boyne Valley.
