Betchworth is a Surrey village on the A25 between Dorking and Reigate, easily reached from the M25 via Junction 8 or 9. Popular with walkers exploring the Surrey Hills, it sits in the Mole Valley with the North Downs rising to either side. The village is notable for its active chalk quarry, which has been extracting lime since Roman times.
