Bepton is a small West Sussex village tucked between the South Downs and Surrey border, reached mainly via country lanes connecting to the A272. Most visitors come through Midhurst, 5km south, which links to the A286 and A3. The 12th-century St. Mary's church houses a rare medieval wooden effigy of a knight, carved from a single oak piece.
