Bendish is a small Hertfordshire settlement reached via local roads from the A1(M) Junction 4, about 10km west. Most visitors approach through Luton (15km southwest) or from nearby villages like Whitwell. The area has over 200 EV charging points regionally, mainly around Luton and motorway services. The name derives from Old English meaning "bent land," describing the gentle curves in the local countryside that remain characteristic of the area today.
