Beauly is a Highland market town 20 kilometres west of Inverness, reached via the A862 from the A9. It's a popular stopping point for tourists heading to the western Highlands, with good EV charging facilities and over 20 fast chargers nearby. The town sits where the River Beauly meets the Beauly Firth, surrounded by gentle hills and farmland. At its heart stands the original 1817 mercat cross with its carved thistle finial in the historic market square.
