Bearnus occupies a remote corner of Mull's western coast, reached via ferry from Oban and a challenging drive along single-track roads through the island's wild interior. The B8035 provides the final approach through moorland and past lochs, whilst approximately four fast chargers serve electric vehicles in this isolated location. Golden eagles nest in the nearby sea cliffs, making this one of Scotland's most reliable spots for observing these magnificent raptors.
