Bawnboy's a handy spot in County Cavan, just a stone's throw from the Fermanagh border. You'll reach it via the N3 from Dublin (140km) or cross from Belfast through Enniskillen on the A4 then N87 (90km). The town sits where several county roads meet, making it a proper crossroads for the surrounding farmland. There's decent electric charging about if you're driving green. Come September, the harvest festival takes over the main street with local produce and traditional music, pulling crowds from both sides of the border.
