Basingstoke sits in north Hampshire, about 50 miles from London via the M3 Junction 6. The A30 runs through the town centre, whilst the A339 heads north to the M4 and the A340 connects to Reading. Local routes include the A33 to Winchester and Southampton. The town has over 100 public EV charging points and serves as a major rail junction. The distinctive Willis Building, known locally as "the doughnut" for its circular design, dominates the skyline.
