Baschurch lies on the A5 trunk road in northern Shropshire, eight miles northwest of Shrewsbury. The village serves as a useful waypoint for drivers travelling between England and Wales, with the A5 providing direct connections to both Shrewsbury and Oswestry. The B4397 branches north from here toward the Welsh border. All Saints Church boasts a remarkable Norman doorway with zigzag stonework dating back eight centuries.
