Barningham is a small Teesdale village near the Yorkshire border, reached via the B6277 from Greta Bridge on the A66. The stone-built settlement sits between the River Greta and higher moorland, with about 18 fast EV chargers in the surrounding area. It's positioned as one of the final villages before the road climbs onto Stainmore's wild moorland, where Romans once marched along what became the A66.
