Barleycroft End is a small Hertfordshire hamlet near the Essex border, accessed via local lanes connecting to the A120. Most visitors come from Bishop's Stortford (15km southwest) or use the M11 motorway connections. With over 50 EV charging points nearby and proximity to Stansted Airport, it's well-connected despite its rural setting. A weathered wooden signpost still marks the original barley field boundary that gave the village its name.
