Bardrishaig

Scotland

Scotland

Bardrishaig lies on Seil island, reached via the historic Clachan Bridge off the A816 south of Oban. The B844 crosses this famous "Bridge over the Atlantic," built in 1792 to span a narrow tidal channel. Most visitors arrive on island-hopping tours or heading to nearby ferry terminals, whilst locals make regular trips to Oban for amenities. The bridge technically crosses the Atlantic, albeit at its narrowest point of just a few metres.
