Banwell is a Somerset market town sitting beneath the Mendip Hills, about 20 kilometres southwest of Bristol via the A371 and M5. The town serves as a quiet base for exploring Cheddar Gorge, Weston-super-Mare's seafront, or Bath's Georgian architecture. Bristol Airport is 15 kilometres away for longer trips. The area has over 60 fast EV charging points nearby. Banwell's claim to fame is its prehistoric bone caves, discovered in 1824, which revealed the remains of ancient cave bears and rhinoceros.
