Balwest lies in Cornwall's former mining heartland, connected by the A394 between Penzance and Helston. Most arrive via the A30 from upcountry, turning off near Helston. With RNAS Culdrose nearby and over 40 EV charging points in the area, it's well-positioned for exploring Cornwall's coast and countryside. The old Wheal Vor mine chimney still dominates the skyline.
