Ballycarry lies on the A2 Antrim Coast Road between Carrickfergus and Larne, about 30 kilometres north of Belfast. Most visitors arrive via the M2 then A2 through Carrickfergus, whilst locals use the same route for Belfast commutes. The town sits beside Belfast Lough with decent EV charging nearby. The Andrew Jackson Cottage here was the ancestral home of America's seventh president.
