Ballintemple

Ireland

Ireland

Ballintemple is a residential suburb on Cork's southeastern edge, sitting along the River Lee about three kilometres from the city centre. You'll get there easily via the N25 or by taking the South Link Road (R610) eastbound through Tivoli. The N40 Southern Ring connects you to Cork Airport and the motorway network, while the coastal drive along the R610 toward Blackrock makes for a lovely two-kilometre journey. The area serves as a handy base for commuters, and electric vehicle owners will find plenty of charging options around greater Cork. The 1856 Parish Church with its limestone facade and prominent spire serves as the neighbourhood's main landmark, clearly visible when approaching from the river.
