Ballinger Common lies in the Chiltern Hills, reached via the A413 from Great Missenden or the M40. This small Buckinghamshire village sits among beech woods at 200 metres elevation, popular with London commuters using the A413 corridor. The village green retains a working red telephone box, one of few still functioning in rural Buckinghamshire.
