Balfarg lies in central Fife, just off the A92 between Glenrothes and Markinch. Most visitors arrive via Junction 3 of the M90, then follow the A92 eastward for 8 kilometres. The area has over 50 EV charging points nearby. The village is notable for its Bronze Age stone circle, one of Fife's most important prehistoric monuments dating back over 4,000 years.
