Baleloch lies on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, reached via Benbecula Airport and the A865 causeway route, or by ferry to Lochmaddy then the A867. The Atlantic machair landscape features fertile grasslands meeting sandy beaches, with frequent weather changes and strong coastal winds year-round. It sits just two kilometres from St. Kilda Village, the departure point for boat trips to the remote UNESCO World Heritage archipelago.
