Babcary is a small Somerset village on the A37 between Castle Cary and Somerton, easily reached from M5 Junction 23 via the A39 and A37. The area sits on the Somerset Levels' characteristic flat farmland, with the A303 providing the main long-distance route about 10km south. The village serves as a convenient stop for those traveling between the Mendip and Blackdown Hills, and sits near RNAS Yeovilton airfield. All Saints Church houses an exceptional 15th-century rood screen.
