Avoch is a fishing village on the Black Isle peninsula, reached via the A832 from the A9 near Tore. The 30-minute drive from Inverness follows the main coastal route through Fortrose. Traditional fishing boats still work from the original stone harbor, a rare sight in modern Scotland.
