Avenham forms part of central Preston, easily reached via Junction 31 of the M6 onto the A59. The A6 runs directly through the district, whilst the M55 provides coastal access from Blackpool. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 100 fast chargers scattered around Preston's centre. The area's Victorian park pavilion, originally an aviary, now hosts weddings with splendid river views.
