Aukside is a small Pennine village in upper Teesdale, reached via the B6277 from Middleton-in-Teesdale or the A67 from Barnard Castle. It's popular with tourists exploring the North Pennines, and there are about 17 fast EV chargers nearby. The stone houses feature thick walls and small windows, built to withstand the fierce winds from Cross Fell.
