Attenborough is a small Nottinghamshire village just off the M1 at Junction 25, three kilometres southwest of Nottingham. The A6005 runs straight through from the city centre, whilst the nearby A52 connects to Derby. It's popular with commuters using local roads via Chilwell and Beeston, and sits conveniently close to East Midlands Airport. The village is famous for being the childhood home of Sir David Attenborough, whose family name now graces the renowned nature reserve.
