Askomill forms part of the Campbeltown area on the Kintyre Peninsula, reached via the A83 which runs down from Tarbert. It's about three hours from Glasgow or via the Arran ferry route. The settlement sits amongst several small communities just inland from Scotland's western coast, with approximately four EV charging points serving the area. The place gets its name from a historic grain mill that served local farms.
