Ashaig lies on Skye's southeastern coast along the A87, the island's main road connecting to the mainland via Skye Bridge. Most visitors arrive from Inverness (120km) or Glasgow (240km) through spectacular Highland scenery. The village sits near Broadford and provides access to one of Skye's few airstrips for private aircraft.
