Arundel sits where the River Arun cuts through the South Downs, 10 miles inland from the coast. The A27 connects it east to Brighton and west to Portsmouth, whilst the A284 runs north through Surrey countryside. The town centre can get congested during summer, but there are over 70 EV charging points nearby. The Gothic Revival cathedral, completed in 1873, was England's first new Catholic cathedral since the Reformation.
