Artane is a well-established residential suburb on Dublin's northside, about 7 kilometres northeast of the city centre. You'll reach it mainly via the M1 motorway or the R107 Malahide Road, which runs straight through and connects to both the city centre and coastal towns north. The area sits handily between Dublin Airport to the northwest and the city, with good links to the M50 orbital motorway for getting around. There's grand charging infrastructure for electric cars throughout Dublin, with over 550 public fast chargers in the region. The neighbourhood has several golf courses, including Castle Golf and nearby Royal Dublin Golf, plus the original 15th-century Artane Castle still stands as a protected monument.
