Aros sits on Mull's eastern shore where the A848 curves along the Sound of Mull, offering excellent views toward the mainland hills of Morvern. Most visitors arrive via the Lochaline-Fishnish ferry, then drive 8km west along the coastal road. The settlement serves as a convenient stopping point between the ferry terminal and Tobermory, with about 7 fast EV chargers available nearby. The shoreline here provides some of Scotland's best otter-watching opportunities, particularly around the kelp beds at dawn.
