Arksey is a small village just north of Doncaster, easily reached via the A638 from Junction 3 of the M18. The area sits in typical South Yorkshire farmland with good motorway links to Leeds, Manchester and Hull. The 12th-century All Saints Church houses remarkable medieval wall paintings uncovered during 1960s restoration work.
