Ardrossan is Ayrshire's main ferry port for the Isle of Arran, reached via the A78 from Glasgow in 45 minutes. The coastal road connects neighbouring towns whilst the A738 links inland to Kilwinning. With over 40 EV charging points and Glasgow Prestwick Airport 20km south, it's well-positioned for island travel. The harbour processes around 750,000 CalMac ferry passengers yearly.
