Ardery occupies a remote stretch of Scotland's western Highlands along Loch Sunart, reached via the winding A861 from Fort William. The single-track road demands careful driving through some of Scotland's most isolated terrain, with Ben Resipol's distinctive pyramid peak looming dramatically overhead at 845 metres.
