Ardcroney sits along the R493 between Borrisokane and Nenagh in County Tipperary's farming country. You'll reach it via the N52 from Nenagh, about 10 kilometers southeast, or through various routes from Dublin via the M7 to Junction 23 at Roscrea. From Limerick, head north on the N7 through Nenagh. The village lies on one of Ireland's old droving routes where cattle were moved between pastures, and you can still see the wide grass verges along parts of the R493 that mark these ancient pathways.
