Ardchonnell is a small lochside settlement on the A83 along Loch Fyne's eastern shore in Argyll and Bute. The main route from Glasgow follows the A82 to Tarbet, then the A83 west through the Rest and Be Thankful pass, roughly 90 kilometres in total. Local journeys connect to Inveraray, 15 kilometres south. About 6 public fast EV chargers serve the area. The name derives from Gaelic "Àird Choinnich," meaning "Kenneth's height."
