Appersett

England

Appersett is a tiny Wensleydale village reached via the A684 through classic Yorkshire Dales countryside. Most visitors arrive from nearby Hawes, just 2km east, or follow scenic routes from the A1 via Bedale. The village sits on the Pennine Way where the famous long-distance footpath crosses the River Ure via an 1811 stone bridge.
