Antrim sits where the Six Mile Water meets Lough Neagh, about 30 kilometers northwest of Belfast with the international airport just minutes away. The M2 and A26 bring you in from Belfast, while the A6 connects from Derry and Omagh. Regular trains run the Belfast-Derry line, and there's good access to regional towns like Magherafelt and Banbridge. The town's crowning glory is its 10th-century round tower, a magnificent 28-meter stone structure that's one of Ireland's best preserved examples of early Christian architecture.
