Annishader sits on Skye's eastern coast near the Sound of Raasay, part of a cluster of small Highland communities. Access is via the A87 across Skye Bridge, then local roads from the main Portree route. The settlement enjoys views across to Raasay, where passenger ferries still connect the islands as they have for generations.
