Ampton

Ampton is a small Suffolk village about 10km northwest of Bury St Edmunds, reached via the A11 and A134 from London or the A1101 from nearby towns. The 14th-century St Peter's Church houses a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen with original painted saint panels that survived the Reformation.
