Ampthill is a Bedfordshire market town perched on the Greensand Ridge, 8km from the M1 at Junction 12. The A507 runs straight through town, connecting to Bedford and beyond, whilst the M1 provides quick access to London in under an hour. Popular with commuters, it's well-served by over 200 EV charging points in the area. The Victorian clock tower in the market square, built from distinctive Totternhoe stone in 1881, remains the town's centrepiece.
