Amport is a small Hampshire village near the Wiltshire border, accessed via the A3057 from Andover or through local roads from the A303. The area serves military personnel from nearby bases and commuters to Winchester or Salisbury, with about 70 EV charging points in the wider region. All Saints Church houses a remarkable 12th-century wooden effigy of a knight, carved from a single oak trunk.
