Alsager lies between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe in Cheshire East, accessible via the A534 and nearby M6 junctions. The former railway town serves as a commuter base for the Potteries and Crewe, with good rail links on the Crewe-Derby line. Its Victorian railway station retains the original red brick architecture and period platform canopy.
