Alnessferry lies on the Black Isle peninsula, about 20 kilometres northeast of Inverness via the A9 and B9163. This small Highland community sits amongst fertile farmland between the Cromarty and Moray Firths, with decent EV charging infrastructure nearby. The village name recalls an old ferry crossing that once carried travellers across the water before modern bridges took over.
