Allerby lies in West Cumbria's coastal farmland, between the Lake District and Irish Sea. Reach it via the A596 coastal route or A595 from Whitehaven, then local roads through farming villages. It's well-positioned for exploring both Lakeland fells and Cumbrian coast, with about a dozen fast EV chargers nearby. The 12th-century church contains remarkable medieval wall paintings.
