Aldie perches on Aberdeenshire's dramatic coastline, about 35km north of Aberdeen via the A975. This clifftop settlement offers access to some of Scotland's most spectacular coastal scenery, including nearby Slains Castle ruins. The area's most famous claim is that Bram Stoker drew inspiration here for Dracula's castle whilst visiting in 1895.
