Aldermaston lies in West Berkshire along the A4, about 50 miles west of London. Take Junction 12 from the M4 and follow the A4 westbound for 8 miles, or approach via the A340 from Basingstoke. With over 200 EV charging points nearby and excellent links to Reading and Newbury, it's well-connected despite its village feel. The Atomic Weapons Establishment has operated here since 1950, developing Britain's nuclear deterrent behind high-security fences.
