Àird is a small Highland settlement on the shores of Loch Ewe in Wester Ross, reached via the scenic A832 coastal road from Gairloch or the longer route from Inverness through Glen Docherty. The area offers dramatic coastal views and wartime naval history, with concrete defence remnants still visible along the protected loch that once anchored Allied convoys.
